					<description>provoking thoughts. i think an argument can be made that in this case fear is the motivator, as it often is. a slightly more grim thought perphaps. fear of not belonging in the group (the group of digerati of 'haves' as opposed to have-nots in this case) or maybe the fear of being left behind in the past.</description>

					<description>I was also of a comparison with the stock market, you buy something now at a higher price because you expect that it will be worth more in a few months.. 

than again, the iPhone will be worth less, after a few months.. but you will have more things that you can do with it, and have a longer time to work with it.. Maybe it only works for products that are by release already better than the competitor. And for some reason basic economic rules don't seem to apply on Apple. If I was a entrepreneur blogger I would write a text something like. 3 ways you can use the future as a selling factor :)</description>
